Privacy Policy
Effective 10 July 2026 · Applies to the JabTrack app (com.jabtrack.app) and jabtrack.app
JabTrack is a weight-loss injection tracker. This policy explains what data the app handles and where it goes. The short version: your data stays on your phone unless you choose to sign in and turn on cloud backup.
Data the app stores
To do its job, JabTrack records health and fitness information that you enter yourself: body weight, injection logs (medication, dose, date, body site), pen supply, body measurements, progress photos, and profile details (name, date of birth, gender, height, goal weight). By default all of this is stored only on your device, in the app's local database. The app works fully offline with no account.
Cloud backup (optional)
If you sign in with Google and enable cloud backup, the data above (including progress photo image files) is copied to our cloud database and storage, hosted by Supabase, so it can be restored on a new phone and synced across your devices. Your data is stored against your account and protected by row-level security — no other user can access it. We use your Google account only to authenticate you; we receive your name and email address, nothing else.
Purchases
Cloud backup is a paid subscription handled by Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status; RevenueCat receives an anonymised user identifier and purchase receipts, never your health data. Payment details are handled entirely by Google Play — we never see them.
What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad trackers.
- We never sell your data or share it with third parties beyond the service providers above.
- No analytics of your health data. This website runs no analytics, no tag managers and no third-party scripts — its fonts and images are served from jabtrack.app itself, so visiting it makes no request to anyone else.
Deleting your data
Settings → "Clear all data" permanently deletes everything on the device. If you are signed in, it also permanently deletes your entire cloud copy (all rows, your profile, and photo files) and signs you out. Uninstalling the app removes all local data. You can also email us (below) to request deletion of any cloud data.
Medical disclaimer
